Junior Belone has been burning up the stage for more than 10 years, performing a variety of Latin Ballroom styles such as merengue, bachata, cha cha cha, floreclore and salsa.
He has performed in clubs and socials in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. e is a passionate choreographer whose work has been featured in the Philadelphia Salsa Congress, The Apollo Theater, the Puerto Rican Day Parade, the Dominican Day Parade and the Harlem Academy Award Show.
Junior’s teaching experience is just as vast as his performance experience. He is currently a salsa instructor at the Harlem Children’s Zone and Genesis Dance School. Junior has taught at Brandeis High School, P.A.L., ASPIRA, the Valley, Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, and Booker T. Washington Beacon 54.
Junior spends his free time playing basketball, baseball, bowling, going to the movies, drawing, playing board games and video games, and cooking for his beautiful family. Junior, like his father and fellow dancer Rodrigo Bellony, is very active in community service. He participates in social events to keep young children off the streets, performs for patients in hospitals, and volunteers in after-school programs and church youth groups. Junior takes pride in being helpful, respectful, honest, friendly and funny and he looks forward to making new friends and fans during his dance career.
